Miss Amelia Stone died at her home two miles northeast of here, Wednesday night, Feb. 13, aged 39 years, 9 months, and 20 days. Her death was a shock to the community. She was not confined to her bed but a few days. She was not married. She leaves a brother, Andy Stone, and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Imel, Mrs. Rebecca Imel and Mrs. Fannie Howard. Their parents died a few years ago and since the death of their mother has been living on the old home place with her brother, Andy. She has gone the way of all the earth. Miss Stone was not a member of any church, but was always ready and willing to do what was right. She was one of our correspondents and wrote her letter and sent it in, but said she would be dead before it was published. A loved one from us is gone; a voice we loved is stilled; a place is vacant in our hearts which never can be filled. -s
